The Python Bridge

IMG_1186This was one of the sites Faith and I visited when the group was on the bike tour. It’s called the python bridge for obvious reasons (although this isn’t the best perspective to show how much it resembles a snake). What stuck out to first and foremost is once again how important form is over functionality. When Faith and I first saw this, I immediately said I would not be crossing it. It is made up of a series of very small steps and is not accessible whatsoever. It is indeed beautiful, but the question has to be asked: at what cost?
